Is prefabrication the answer to all of our building issues? Depends on who you ask.....

'Prefab' has been a dirty word in the building industry for many years- but WOW has that changed. Prefabrication- in all its guises- is now embraced by Governments and developers as the way to deal with the housing crisis in Australia, yet many builders, designers and trades are slow to/resisting making the change. The term used in Government is 'Modern Methods of Construction' or MMC. But it is not modern, we are just catching up to what many parts of the world have been doing for 30+ years.
